PolypLab Genesis Rock Pack (Rock Only, 4 Pack) is a high-capacity biological filtration solution designed for aquariums that demand powerful, long-term nutrient control. Manufactured from a 100% inert ceramic compound fired at over 600°C, Genesis Rocks are built to last for years while providing exceptional bacterial colonisation.
Each block delivers over 23,000 square feet of surface area, allowing beneficial bacteria to thrive and naturally reduce ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, and dissolved organic compounds. The ultra-porous structure supports aerobic bacteria on the outer surfaces and anaerobic bacteria deep within the block, enabling efficient filtration across all stages of the nitrogen cycle.
Suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, Genesis Rocks can be placed under sand beds, within refugiums, sumps, or discreetly hidden in aquascapes—making them a flexible and powerful filtration upgrade for high-bioload systems.
