Maxspect Nano Tech Anaerobic-Blocks are an efficient and reliable solution for removing nitrate from both freshwater and marine aquariums. These blocks utilize proprietary technology designed to stimulate the growth of anaerobic bacteria, which completes the nitrification cycle by converting nitrate into nitrogen gas. By fostering the ideal conditions for bacterial colonies, the Anaerobic-Block ensures the reduction of harmful nitrates, contributing to a healthier aquarium environment.

Each pack includes two blocks, which can treat aquariums up to 1,000L (264 gallons). The blocks are designed to be used directly in a sump, and can be stacked horizontally with a Denitrification Catalyst between them. This method accelerates the denitrification process, reducing nitrate levels in your tank. The blocks are made with Nano-Ceramic beads that are treated to promote anaerobic bacterial growth, ensuring long-term effectiveness.
