Aquaforest Carbon 250ml – Activated Carbon Filter Media for Reef Aquariums

Maintain crystal-clear, healthy aquarium water with Aquaforest Carbon 250ml, a premium steam-activated granular carbon filter media specially designed for marine, reef, and freshwater aquariums. This high-performance activated carbon effectively adsorbs unwanted impurities, dissolved organic compounds, discoloration, and medication residues, helping improve water clarity and overall aquarium water quality.

Unlike conventional chemically activated carbon media, Aquaforest Carbon is steam-activated without phosphoric acid, ensuring that the activation process does not introduce unwanted phosphates into the filtration media. Its highly porous structure provides excellent adsorption capabilities, making it a reliable choice for maintaining clean and balanced aquarium water.

One of the key benefits of Aquaforest Carbon 250ml is its ability to help remove dissolved organic substances released by corals during chemical interactions, commonly known as coral chemical warfare. This makes it particularly beneficial for mixed reef aquariums containing SPS, LPS, and soft corals, where maintaining excellent water quality is essential.

The formula is also suitable for Ultra-Low Nutrient Systems (ULNS) and SPS-dominated reef aquariums, where effective chemical filtration helps maintain water clarity and reduce dissolved organic contaminants.

Designed for convenient aquarium maintenance, Aquaforest Carbon can be used inside a fluidized media reactor or a suitable filter media bag. With a recommended dosage of 100ml per 100 liters of aquarium water and a replacement interval of approximately four weeks, it provides a practical solution for regular chemical filtration.

Whether you're maintaining a mixed coral reef, SPS-dominated aquarium, or freshwater system, Aquaforest Carbon 250ml from Reef freaks offers dependable filtration performance to help keep your aquarium water clean and clear.
