Korallen Zucht Activated Carbon is a high-quality filter media specially developed for saltwater aquariums. Designed to significantly improve the health of your corals, this activated carbon adsorbs toxins, toxic compounds, yellowing agents, and proteins from your tank water. As a result, you’ll notice better polyp extension and clearer water, promoting a healthier and more vibrant tank environment. By using this carbon, you can ensure your aquarium water remains crystal clear and free from harmful substances.

To use, place the carbon in a mesh bag or nylon stocking and position it in a passively flowed filter bypass or on top of the ZEOvit® in the ZEOvit® filter. Be sure to rinse the carbon briefly with hot tap water before use. For optimal performance, replace the carbon every 30 days, using 1 liter of carbon for every 250 gallons (1000 liters) of water.
